we tend to take people for grantedwe think that they will always be there...
beside us
through our happiest times and toughest times
but what if one day,
they aren't there
no one to turn to when you are down
no one to wipe your tears when you cry
no one to give you advice when you have done something foolish
no one to pick you up when you fall
no one to encourage you when you think all hope is lost
no one to laugh with you when you are feeling happy
no one to complain to when you are irritated
no one to understand how you really feel
one day when all that is taken away from you
then you treasure it more
but it is too late
life is too short to regret things
so when someone tells you to live each day to its fullest
they mean it,
cause if you don't
you will be empty and lonely inside
and live to regret.
